Pastor gives thanks for the help

September 1, 2013

On Aug. 8, our church held a fundraiser to help pay off our mortgage.

We have been blessed this year with two such sales that have greatly reduced this debt and set us on the path to paying it off within the next six months. We are so thankful for everyone who purchased a plate, made a donation or simply prayed for the outcome of our sale.

We have seen great and wonderful things take place over the last six years, but it seems to just keep getting better with each passing day. To all who helped with the cooking, preparing plates and deliveries, you will never know how much you mean to me as your pastor. There were many of you who attend other churches that helped us and I hope your pastor realizes what hard workers you are for the Lord.

Our plans are to get this debt behind us and begin saving for a new church across the street from our current location. We have consistently grown since establishing ourselves in Clarkton in 2007, and we hope to soon give our congregation a new, up-to-date facility in which to continue our work for the Lord. We have truly been blessed with a lot of friends and we hope to continue to add to that list of people and organizations in the future.

Please continue to pray for us as we continue to reach out to the unchurched, the unsaved and those who are otherwise in need.

May God bless you,

Pastor Richard Priest
