The town of Bladenboro held its annual Fun Day on Saturday at the Bladenboro Historical Building. The sun-filled day featured rides, food, games, vendors and tours of the museum. Hundreds came out to enjoy the day-long event. In the photos, top to bottom: Haley Bryan, 8, and Summer Singletary, 8, of Bladenboro wait their turn for a ride on The Spinner; Dalton Davis, 9, enjoys his Popsicle sitting at the edge of the fountain; Kaylee Chesnutt of Lumberton sits in the driver’s seat of a fire truck; Chloe Walters, 3, of Bladenboro swings the hammer to win a prize; Karis Smith of Lumberton climbs the ‘rock wall’ on a bounce house; Katelyn Martin, 5, of Elizabethtown carries her string of tickets off to a ride; Oral Randolph Cheshire of the Butters community provides the musical entertainment; the conductor of the train takes a break for a soda; and Mason Pait gets his face painted.
