Auditions set on Jan. 18 for ‘Schoolhouse Rock, Jr.’

LUMBERTON — Auditions for “Schoolhouse Rock, Jr.” will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater in downtown Lumberton for the theater’s upcoming presentation of the next Kids on Stage Series of productions for young actors.


“Schoolhouse Rock, Jr.” will be presented April 25-27 at the theater.

All those between the ages of 7 and 18 are invited to audition and must be prepared to sing one song, move around the stage and read from provided script. Those auditioning must bring their own music on CD, I-Pod, or MP3 and sneakers are recommended.
“Schoolhouse Rock, Jr.” will be directed by Kendrix Singletary, who serves as the theater’s resident artist and production manager.
