ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office handled a total of 52 calls from victims of potential crime between March 12 and March 18.
Among those reports were six for larceny, five for residential or business alarms, five for breaking and/or entering, three for suspicious activity, three for physical and/or verbal assault, two for financial identity fraud, two for drugs and one for possession of a dangerous weapon in prison.
There were also 18 arrests during that same time period.
Following are the more interesting and/or important arrests:
— Joelle Danielle Outlaw, 20, charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense at 100 Wildlife Landing Drive in White Oak on March 12.
— Bobby Wayne Norris, 65, charged with communicating threats at 536 Ruskin Road in Elizabethtown on March 12.
— Deon Allan Stanfield, 23, charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana at the Smithfield Plant in Tar Heel on March 14.
— Monte Lee Williams, 30, charged with felony counterfeit trademark at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on March 14.
— Howard Aaron Haley, 65, charged with two counts of assault by pointing a gun at 19563 Hwy. 410 in Bladenboro on March 15.
— Nicolas Ryan Walters, 22, charged with felony failure to appear on a felony at 3467 U.S. 701 North in Elizabethtown on March 16.
— Nathaniel Scott Britt, 27, charged with assaulting a government official/employee at 2063 Berry Lewis Road in Bladenboro on March 17.
— Kenneth Lee Yandle, 29, charged with civil contempt for child support at 19 E. Elm St. in White lake on March 17.
— Brent Ray Jones, 31, charged with possession of a firearms by a felon (true bill of indictment) at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on March 17.
