BCC to host seminars at Cape Fear Farmer's Market

DUBLIN — The Bladen Community College Small Business Center is presenting a series of no-cost seminars entitled “Getting Ready for Summer” during the month of April.
The seminars will be held at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The seminars are as follows:

— April 3 - Inexpensive and Creative Marketing: Expert speaker Emily Balance will show how to overcome common obstacles that may be holding you back. Come learn lots of new, inexpensive, fun and creative ways to market your business, service, or product. Bring your friends and your business cards. Leave with new ideas to increase your visibility and connect with your community and grow your business.
— April 10 – How to Hire and Keep the Best Employees: Steve Carver brings his forty-plus years of experience to the Cape Fear Farmers Market. Learn the tips and tricks for hiring the best people for your small business and then what to do to retain them.
— April 17 – Understanding and Working with Different Generations: Expert speaker on generational differences Emily Balance returns to explain how the differences in generations plays a role in your small business from management to marketing.
— April 24 – Ultimate Marketing Tool: Customer Service: Expert storyteller and speaker Barbara Armstrong White will help hone one of the best marketing tools you have no matter what small business you are in: your customer service.
