Kim and Jeff Tyler of Elizabethtown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Summer Tyler of Elizabethtown, to Trent Harris of Elizabethtown.
Harris is the son of Kasandra and Derek Harris of Elizabethtown.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Bladen Community College with a double major in general business and science. She is currently employed at Joseph D. Salon in downtown Elizabethtown.
Harris is currently employed as a welder with Schindler Corp.
The couple plans to be married Oct. 28, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Allen Brothers Hunting Preserve.
