BLADENBORO — The Bladenboro Visual Arts Council will host well-known Elizabethtown artist Ed Harris, who will be exhibiting his work from Sept. 2 to Oct. 1 at the Bladenboro Art Gallery in the Bladenboro Historical Society Building. September is the building’s 100th anniversary.

The exhibit will include floral, landscape, still life, and wildlife watercolors in Realism. Harris and his wife Elizabeth will be available to speak with visitors on Saturday, Sept. 9, — which will be the annual Fun Day from noon to 4 p.m.

The Arts Council will also be open from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, or by appointment on weekdays. It is located in the old Bladenboro school building at 818 South Main St. Admission is free.
