LUMBERTON — The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater in Lumberton will present its fourth annual heart-warming holiday musical revue for the entire family.

The show, “A Robeson County Christmas,” will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, and Saturday, Dec. 12 — and again at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13.

Created and directed by Kendrix Singletary, the theater’s resident artist, the show features Lumberton’s own Miss North Carolina 2013-14 Johna Edmonds, X-Factor Top 40 selection Tyler Cole, Jef the Mime, and a talented cast of local entertainers performing popular and spiritual Christmas songs with stunning lighting effects and a beautiful set.

Appearances also will be made by Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and of course Santa Clause. The beautifully-restored theater, which first opened in 1928, will be fully decorated for the holidays, including snow machines.

Tickets are $23 for adults and $10 for students; children 5 and under are free. Group discount rates of $17 per ticket with the advance purchase of 10 or more. Perfect for churches and other organizations — or just a group of friends. The senior citizen price and SRMC PrivilegesPlus member price is $17.

Tickets can be purchased anytime on-line by going online at www.carolinaciviccenter.com. Tickets also can be purchased in-person or by telephone with credit card or cash between 1 and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the administrative offices in the theater’s second floor (enter on Fourth Street side), or by calling the Civic Center at 910-738-4339.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Theater lobby box office opens for ticket sales one hour prior to performance.

The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater is located in historic downtown Lumberton at Fourth and Chestnut streets, just one block north of the downtown plaza.
