Local students take part in state’s Troopers Program

ELIZABETHTOWN — Two Bladen County students recently attended a program sponsored by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Troopers.Elizabethtown American Legion Post 404 sponsored the students — Geomae Peterson and Brittany Lewis.The program is designed for young students in high school and gives them insight into the training for state troopers. It is a week long program during which the students take part in physical training, classroom work, and recreation as well as riding in a patrol car. Students get to stay in the North Carolina State Troopers Training Center Dorms.


Eagles shut out Heidi Trask
