Day of Caring in Bladen County

ELIZABETHTOWN — The United Way of Bladen County’s Day of Caring Team set up operations at the Cape Fear Farmers’ Market in downtown Elizabethtown on Friday, where they coordinated several projects throughout the county that included, among others, bagging food for students of low-income families, building ramps for the disabled and distributing food to the county’s shut-ins. Above, part of the Day of Caring Team sets up the food-bagging station outside the Farmers’ Market.
