ELIZABETHTOWN — A special donation of blankets was given to the Bladen Journal’s third annual ‘Roger’s Wish’ project on Tuesday when Roger Grunder’s father Roger L. Grunder stopped in to deliver three Mexican-style blankets. Grunder presented them to Bladen Journal GM/Editor W. Curt Vincent. The newspaper will accept blankets, sleeping bags and other items for the area’s homeless and needy through Monday, then distribute the items to those in need on Friday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
