ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown Rotary Club met on Wednesday and held a brief business session.

President Renee Horton led the discussion and talked about the club’s upcoming dictionary project set for December. Each year the club partners with the Bladenboro Rotary Club and delivers dictionaries to the county’s third grade students. This is a project that the Rotarians enjoy as well as the students.

The dictionaries come with more than just words and their meanings. They include a section packed with scientific facts, mathematics, history, geography and much more.

Many students enjoy reading and learning about the many facts included in the almanac section.
