An opossum was discovered in a tree along West Broad Street in the downtown business district of Elizabethtown on Tuesday morning. Chance Melvin, an employee with Leinwand’s, shooed the critter out of the tree but, when it made a beeline across the street to Melvin’s front door, Chance took the opossum by the tail and escorted it to Tory Hole for release.
