The Colly Extension and Community Association Club made a donation of fourteen cases of water to WBLA‘s Bottle Water Collection Project. The water was to be sent to Flint, Michigan to assist residents experiencing unsafe water.
The mission of ECA is to strengthen families through, leadership development: Volunteer work and educational support through research-based education from North Carolina State University and North Carolina A & T State University.
Members participating were: Barbara Autry, Delma Autry, Lillie Boykins, Sue Cotton, Joyce Gillespie, Effie Highsmith, Minnie Hawkins, Helen Hollis, Fubia Hollis, also Olivia Johnson, Pauline Johnson, Dorothy McKoy, Andra Newkirk, Jean Thornton, and Angela Whitaker.
