Governor Pat McCrory ordered all North Carolina flags to be immediately lowered to half-staff on all state facilities in honor of North Carolina Representative Paul Luebke. Representative Luebke represented Durham County for 25 years in House District 30. Luebke died at the age of 70 after a battle with lymphoma. Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
Governor Pat McCrory said in a statement that Luebke “was a dedicated servant whose long career in education and the General Assembly reflected his undeniable passion for serving his district and helping the people of North Carolina.”
