ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office handled a total of 43 calls from the public between April 30 and May 7.


Those calls included six for larceny, five for alarms, four for breaking and/or entering, three for verbal and/or physical assault and one each for drugs and suspicious activity.


There were also a total of 22 arrests during that time.


Following are the more interesting and/or important arrests:


— Kelvin Donta McKeithan, 33, charged with communicating threats at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on April 30.


— Jerry Lee Oriz, 49, charged with communicating threats at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 2.


— Kendrick Lamont Cillespie, 33, charged with civil contempt for child support at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 2.


— Kelvin Donta McKeithan, 33, charged with first-degree murder at 839 Elton Road in Clarkton on May 3.


— Donny Demont Kemp, 35, charged with assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed gun at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 3.


— Ricky Cortez Ellison, 39, charged with civil contempt for child support at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 5.


— Stephanie Dawn Spivey, 32, charged with felony uttering forged instrument at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 5.


— Jonathan Lamar Dees, 24, charged with assault on a female at 15855 W. Hwy. 87 in Tar Heel on May 5.


— Andre Miquel Diaz, 50, charged with civil contempt for child support at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 5.


— Robert Lee Bass, 41, charged with communicating threats at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 6.


— Willie Eugene Santee, 45, charged with civil contempt for child support at 8877 N.C. 210 Hwy. West/County Line Road in Garland on May 6.


— Charles Anthony Jacobs, 41, charged with assault on a female at 7196 N.C. 53 West in White Oak on May 7.


— Jonathan Lamar Dees, 24, charged with assault on a female at 106 Courthouse Drive in Elizabethtown on May 7.


— Tevin Lamar Baldwin, 17, charged with felony discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling/moving vehicle at 306 Frank Melvin Road in Elizabethtown on May 7.
