DUBLIN — The Small Business Center of Bladen Community College is offering no-cost business seminars in September.

They are:

— Social Media for Churches and Non-Profits will be offered Saturday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. until noon on the Dublin campus in bldg., 2, room 207.

— The Entrepreneurs’ Academy will meet at the Dublin campus on Tuesdays starting Sept. 12, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Participants who attend at least five of the seven-part series will receive a certificate. The series will meet on the following dates:

Sept. 12 – How to Start a Business

Sept. 19 – Financing Your Small Business

Sept. 26 – Your Small Business Taxes

Oct. 5 – Basics of Bookkeeping

Oct. 19 – How to Find Your Customers

Oct. 26 – Marketing Your Business

Nov. 2 – How to Write a Business Plan

— Ten Tips for Starting a Non-Profit will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. in bldg. 2, room 202, on the main campus.

— Ten Tips for Recruiting and Keeping Volunteers is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 21, from 7:45 until 8:45 p.m. in bldg. 2, room 202 on the main campus.

— The Bladen County Public Library will be hosting Secrets of Great Customer Service for Small Business on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 6 until 8 p.m., and Ten Tips for Getting More Customers in Your Door on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the main branch in Elizabethtown at 111 North Cypress St.

— The East Arcadia Center will host Grant Writing Basics from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

— The new online webinars for the month of September include:

Sept. 13 – Maximize Your Google Listing from 1 until 2 P.M.

Sept. 18 – Online Tools and Apps for Small Business from 7 until 8 P.M.

Sept. 22 – Ten Tips and Tricks for Your Pitch from 10 until 11 A.M.

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
