DUBLIN — The Small Business Center of Bladen Community College is offering no-cost business seminars in May.

They are:

— How to Start a Drone Business is planned for Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to noon in building 2, room 202, on the Dublin campus.

— Owning a Rental Property as a Business will be presented as part one of a two-part set of seminars for entrepreneurs who want to find and own rental properties. This workshop is scheduled for Thursday, May 24, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be followed immediately by How to Find Rental Properties, at 7:45 p.m.

— Increasing Your Credit for a Business Loan is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, at 6 p.m. at the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown. The workshop will discuss legal tricks credit bureaus do not reveal on how to raise your credit score.

Six online webinar opportunities are scheduled for May:

— Starting a Business in Bladen County is scheduled for Monday, May 14, from 7 to 8 p.m.

— 10 Best Free Social Media Management Tools is planned for Wednesday, May 16, from 1 to 2 p.m.

— 10 Google Tools to Start a Small Business is scheduled for Friday, May 18, from 10 to 11 a.m.

— 10 Tips for Online Reviews is scheduled for Monday, May 21, from 7 to 8 p.m.

— 10 Tips for the Best Google Listing is Wednesday, May 23, from 1 to 2 p.m.

— 10 Mistakes to Avoid with Mobile Sites is planned for Friday, May 18, from 10 to 11 a.m.

All seminars and webinars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
