ELIZABETHTOWN — The Bladebn County Sheriff’s Office and Elizabethtown Police Department recently concluded a six-month joint operation that led to five arrests and numerous drug charges around the county.
The join operation targeted those distributing prescription pills, methamphetamine and cocaine.
Those arrested were:
— Sandy Leach Wiggins, 36, of Bladenboro. She was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, delivering a Schedule II controlled substance, selling a Schedule II controlled substance, delivering a Schedule II controlled substance and selling a Schedule III controlled substance.
Her bond was set at $30,000.
— Bobby Dale Dowless, 32, of White Oak. He was charged with manufacturing a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling to sell narcotics, selling a Schedule II controlled substance and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance.
His bond was set at $15,000.
— Darrell Hester, 28, of Bladenboro. He was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, selling cocaine, delivering cocaine and manufacturing cocaine.
His bond was set at $10,000.
— Tremell Howell, 20, of Bladenboro. He was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, selling cocaine, delivering cocaine and manufacturing cocaine. No bond related to other charges.
— Joshua Michael Hurst, 29, of Bladenboro. Hurst was arrested as the result of an ongoing investigation that started in April when a search warrant was executed at his residence. He was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, selling methamphetamine, delivering methamphetamine, manufacture methamphetamine and maintain a dwelling to sell narcotics.
His bond was set at $20,000.
