DUBLIN — On Monday, June 19, Bladen Community College will host an afternoon workshop for youth to build and blast Alka-Seltzer rockets into the sky.

BioNetwork Engagement Technician Courtney Behrle will facilitate the science exploration class, which meets from 1 until 4 p.m. on the Dublin campus.

On Monday, June 26, Behrle will return to teach a class on Prosthesis Thesis, a biomedical workshop in which students will build and test a below-the-knee prosthetic. This class meets from 1 until 4 p.m. on the Dublin campus.

The workshops are open to students ages 14 to 17. Pre-registration is required.
