ELIZABETHTOWN — Nine cadets from the Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy have graduated from the St. Johns Northwestern Military Academy Summer OPS program.

Summer OPS is a five-week academic military leadership program. The PBLA cadets studied and worked with other cadets from Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Wisconsin, China, South Korea and Mexico.

Cadets were enrolled in either ACT Prep, Band, English I, JROTC I, JROTC II, and Spanish during the academic portion of the day. Each cadet earned one academic credit for the class he or she was enrolled in. In the afternoon the cadets participated in archery, BRM, canoeing, drill and ceremonies, laser tag, obstacle course, paintball, rappelling, rock wall climbing, and swimming.
