Pait presently serves on the Med/Surg Unit in the capacity of charge nurse, preceptor, performance improvement coordinator and scheduling coordinator. She was delegated as a supervisor during the transition to the electronic medical record system and was instrumental in training other team members. The Daisy Award Foundation was created in 1999 to identify and honor exceptional nurses who provide quality and compassionate care.
