Hayley Hall vying for national title

Hayley Hall, a senior at West Bladen High and resident of of Bladenboro, is now one of four finalists — from among more than 200 entries — in this year’s FMC “Stand and Be Heard Anthem Singing Contest” and your vote is now needed!
Selected by popular online vote to move to the judging round, Hall now hopes to win the grand prize of a $10,000 college scholarship. Voting has already begun online at www.FMCcrop.com/contest and will continue through through Sept. 15.
Hall recently traveled to Nashville with the other three finalists to rerecord her rendition of the National Anthem with professional music producer Tom Davis. The finalists’ updated performances have been posted to www.FMCcrop.com/contest and was broadcast nationwide on Thursday, Aug. 29, on RFD-TV.
The finalist who receives the most votes will win the $10,000 scholarship, and the other three remaining finalists will each receive a $5,000 scholarship. Winners will be announced on Sept. 18.
