Hannah Danielle Wachter of Elizabethtown and Channing Richard Gooden of Elizabethtown were united in marriage at The Isles at Ocean Isle Beach at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, with the Rev. Chris Carroll officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Angela Wachter of Elizabethtown and the granddaughter of Rita and Frank Wachter of Cedar Lake, Indiana and the late John and Ruth Hines of Cadillac, Michigan.
She attended Harrells Christian Academy, East Carolina University and UNC-Pembroke and is employed by Gooden Farms.
The groom is the son of David and Pat Gooden of Elizabethtown and is the grandson of Pat Melvin and the late Pete Melvin and the late DeWitt and Naomi Gooden of Elizabethtown. He attended East Bladen High School and N.C. State University and is employed by Gooden Farms.
The Maid of Honor was Haley Ann Wachter, sister of the bride, of Elizabethtown. Bridesmaids were Abigail and Emily Pigford of Watha.
The groom chose his father, David Gooden of Elizabethtown to serve as his Best Man. Groomsmen were Chris Butler and Jason Gooden, brothers of the groom, of Elizabethtown,
The flower girl was Anna Gooden and the ring bearer was Witt Gooden. Musicians were Kendall Smith, guitarist and Briana Graham-Peed, vocalist.
The wedding director was Morgan Guyton Smith.
After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Elizabethtown.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Lu Mil Vineyard in Dublin.
