Carrie Leann Pait and Erik James Bron, both of Wilmington, were united in marriage on June 15, 2013.
The ceremony took place at 6 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Wilmington. The Rev. Jerry D. Bron, uncle of the groom, officiated the ceremony along with the Rev. Mike Davis.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Jason Hayes Pait of Shallotte, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ruford R. Watson of Bladenboro and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis H. Pait of Fayetteville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johannes R. Bron of Wilmington.
Kimberly Chamberlain Pait, sister-in-law, of the bride, of Shallotte, served as matron of honor. Victoria Rose Simmons of Bladenboro, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Merrie Rebecca Walters of Sunset Beach, Julie Furr Outlaw of Rocky Point, Amy Aikens Horrell of Wilmington, Holly Lane Sessions of Winnabow. Karlee Lynn Roberts of Elizabethtown and Madelyn Rae Watson of Nakina served as junior bridesmaids. Flower girls were Chloe Grace Thompson of Bladenboro and Ella Reese Watson of Nakina.
The groom chose his father, Johannes Bron, to serve as best man. Groomsmen were Charles Brandon Rabon of Wilmington, the Rev. Christopher Alton Furr of Alexandria, Va., Michael Christopher Alford of Charlotte, Jerold Benjamin Horrell of Wilmington, and Jason Hayes Pait of Shallotte, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Jacen Hunter Murphy of Wilmington and Tyree Rashion Johnson, also of Wilmington. Serving as ring bearer was Noah Alton Furr of Alexandria, Va.
Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Dewey N. Furr of Wilmington and Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Allen of Bladenboro.
Special music for the ceremony was provided by pianist/organist Joann Guttman, vocal soloists were Laurie Kelly and Jerold Benjamin Horrell, and trumpeter Dr. John Lacognata.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Halyburton Park Events Center.
The reception of dinner and dancing was hosted by the bride’s mother and stepfather at Upper Room, 412 Ann Street, Wilmington, with music provided by DJ Rus Nipper.
After a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple plan to reside in Wilmington.
