ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown High School Class of 1964 reunion was held on Saturday, May 3, at the White Lake Town Hall facilities.

About 30 members of the original class and one teacher, Ann Jessup MacDuffee, were in attendance and many memories were brought forward from some dark, hidden file we had tucked away and long forgotten.

As with any high school class, the stories of our lives would easily fill a good size book and would most likely make for some very good and exciting reading by all. Next, we remembered those who have been called home by God and we then introduced ourselves to the class with a few choice comments.

The meal was catered by Joan and the prime bib was fantastic. If I remember correctly, we have now agreed to hold our reunion annually from this point forward as our ages are getting on up there. At least we’re young at heart and, for the most part, we’re still in good health, so we do have a lot of good years ahead of us.
