ELIZABETHTOWN — A Bladen County woman was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and now faces a number of drug-related charges.
“The suspect was involved in the selling of cocaine with Levale Rogers (who) was previously arrested on Aug. 8 after a search warrant was conducted at his residence on Quali Street in Elizabethtown,” said Elizabethtown Police Chief Bobby Kinlaw.
Kinlaw said officers made cocaine purchases from both Rogers and Glynis Denise Powell, 49, of James Street in Elizabethtown.
Powell has been charged with two counts of felony conspiracy to sell cocaine and two counts of felony conspiracy to deliver cocaine.
She was released from the Bladen County jail after posting a $10,000 secured bond on Oct. 9.
