ELIZABETHTOWN — With Easter right around the corner, several organizations have announced closings to observe the holiday weekend. They include the following:

— All branches of the Bladen County Public Library will be closed on Friday, March 25, and Saturday, March 26, in observance of the Easter Holiday. All branches will reopen on Monday, March 28.

— The Bladen County Transfer Station will be closed Friday, March 25, in observance of Good Friday. Normal operations will resume on Monday, March 28. All other county collection centers will be open on normal scheduling.

— Bladen County Schools will have a teacher workday on Friday, March 25. Schools will observe annual Easter leave Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 1. Classes will resume on Monday, April 4.

— All federal offices and courts will be closed Friday, March 25.

— All state offices and courts will be closed Friday, March 25.

— All local and county municipal offices will be closed Friday, March 25.

— The United States Postal Service will not have mail delivery onj Friday, March 25.

— The Bladen Journal office will be open on Good Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
