— A benefit fundraiser and silent auction will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Family Life Center, 6414 Center Road in Bladenboro, to help with medical expenses for Ron and Cory Singletary and their daughters. Delicious chicken bog plates are available for $7, and items will be available for purchase via a silent auction. — Hickory Grove Baptist Church’s annual Fall Festival will be held 6 to 8 p.m. in the Family Life Center. We will have hayrides, cake walks, Ladies’ pie contest, Men’s chili cook-off, plenty of food, and lots of other fun activities. Kids 12 and under are welcome to wear their costumes. — The Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist clothes closet will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Their food pantry, “From His Table to Yours,” will be open 10 a.m. to noon. Personal transportation is required, identifications are waived due to the recent storm. Household objects, personal toiletries, non-perishable food items and clothing are available in an abundance supply. Everyone is welcomed. No fee is involved in either ministry. — Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Council will be having their Annual Birthday Rally at 3:30 p.m. Guests will be the Rev. Anthony Q. Jones and Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Fair Bluff. Everyone is invited.

— “WEAR PINK DAY” at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church, recognizing October as breast cancer awareness month. The National theme is “no one should face breast cancer alone.” Baldwin Branch summons and encourages all congregations to wear pink on this day.

— Bethel Baptist Church in Dublin, at 5 p.m., will be having a Fall Festival. The evening will consist of an outdoor movie, cake walk, hayrides, food, games and a candy drop. Bring your towels, blankets and lawn chairs for the movie. This will be a great night of fun for all ages.

— The Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church family of Bladenboro will celebrate the October, November and December birthdays at the 11 a.m. worship service.

— Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church will begin a three-night revival at 7 p.m. each evening today, Wednesday and Thursday. Pastor Timothy A. Lance of Mt. Olive MBC of Whiteville will be the revivalist each night.

— Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Council will be celebrating Harvest Day at 11 a.m. The Rev. Carl A. Smith will deliver the morning message. There will be no afternoon service. Everyone is invited.
