ELIZABETHTOWN — Last week, the Eagles of east Bladen High managed to earn their first Four County Conference victory with a 46-6 drubbing of Pender County at the Eagles Nest on homecoming night.
On Friday, the Eagles will be taking on a Heidi Trask team that is also looking for its first conference win.
The Titans, now 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the conference, will try do that with an offense that is averaging only 14 points per game and a defense that is giving up 45 points per contest.
Last week, Heidi Trask took a 57-26 whipping at the Hands of West Bladen on the Knights’ homecoming evening.
The Titans operate their offense out of the Veer with plenty of options. The offense is a three-headed attack with running backs Dalen Faison and Cameron Carr joining quarterback Dylan Kraft as the components to focus on.
The Trask defense, which has shown itself to be susceptible to big run plays, rely on the play of lineman Zach Liotard, Faison at lineback and Carr at dfensive back to carry the load.
