Cross-country meeting set
ELIZABETHTOWN — A meeting has been scheduled at East Bladen High School for anyone interested in running cross-country this fall.
Coach William Bolden will meet in the school’s atrium on Monday, Aug. 4, from 9 to 10 a.m.
All interested participants must have an updated physical.
Lady Eagles tennis tryouts
ELIZABETHTOWN — Tryouts for the East Bladen girls tennis team will begin Monday, Aug. 4, at 9 a.m.
Interested participants must have a current physical.

Casino night set for Aug. 23
BLADENBORO — The National Wild Turkey Federation will hold a casino night at Allen Brothers Hunting Preserve on Saturday, Aug. 23, starting at 6 p.m.

ELIZABETHTOWN — East Bladen High School considers its banner sponsors a cornerstone of its financial support. Yes, this is good advertising for you - but it’s more than that! Your monetary support directly helps ours students. The prominent display before our home crowd, lends itself towards building a positive community image.
Our Booster Club provides the following package for each sponsorship:
— Gold Member: $500 allows 4 season passes/3 parking passes/banner
— Silver Member: $300 allows 2 season passes/2 parking passes/banner
— Bronze Member: $150 allows 1 season pass/1 parking pass
Your banner will be proudly displayed during all sports seasons.

Triathlon schedule has been set
WHITE LAKE — Dates have been set for the 2014 fall triathlons at White Lake.
— The White Lake International Triathon — a 1,500-meter swim, 45K bike ride and 10K run — will be held Sept. 6 starting at 8 a.m.
— The White Lake Dash for Divas Triathlon — a 250-meter swim, 7-mile bike ride and 2-mile run — will be held Sept. 7 starting at 8 a.m.
