DUBLIN — The Lady Knights pressured visiting East Bladen and seemed poised to take the third game before the Lady Eagles rallied with a late surge to complete the straight sets sweep on Tuesday.

The Four County Conference win — by the scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 26-24 — moved East Bladen to 12-8 overall and 9-5 in the conference. The loss finishes West Bladen’s season at 7-13, 3-11.

For the Lady Eagles, Miller Heustess recorded a double-double with 11 assists and 11 service winners, along with a pair of kills. Claire Campbell had 10 service points with three kills; Lacey Suggs contributed 11 kills in the match and added nine service points with a block; Lexie Mendell had five kills, two aces and a block; Hannah DeVane had two kills.

For the Lady Knights, Morgan Schumacher recorded seven kills and three blocks, while Logan Autry contributed 17 assists and two kills. Kassidy Anderson had nine service winners with five kills; Kathryn Schultz added four kills and two blocks; Lorna Smith had eight kills; and Laikyn Pait had two kills.
