Based on my understanding of Scripture, I am a born-again Christian. I was registered for approximately 20 years as a Democrat, approximately 20 years as a Republican and now for the past 11 or so years as an unaffiliated voter.

Here is something to consider: It is not biblically possible to be a member of the Democratic Party and be a biblical Christian. And if you think about it, the Republican Party is nothing more than a watered-down version of the Democratic Party. Therefore, it could be argued that it is biblically impossible to be a biblical Christian and a Republican.

What is my logic for this line of thought? Have you ever seen the video of an abortion being performed? If not, I suggest you Google it and watch — if you can.

The Democratic Party is unabashedly pro-abortion, while the Republican Party is generally the lesser of two evils, at best straddling the fence on the abortion issue.

That being said, if an individual considers themselves to be a Christian, they would be wise to register as an unaffiliated voter. Abortion kills an unborn child, it’s just that simple (Jeremiah 1:5).

There is nothing that either the Democratic or Republican parties can offer that’s worth being guilty by association. Don’t be numbered with the transgressors.
