A group of dedicated survivors, advocates and healthcare professionals formed the first National Lung Cancer Partnership Chapter. They organized the first Free to Breathe® event in Raleigh in 2007 to raise awareness and research funding for lung cancer. In 2008, the Triad inaugural event was added to the Free to Breathe® lineup.
This is the second annual Free to Breathe® Lung Cancer 5K in the Triad. There will also be events held in Raleigh and in Boone. Please join one or all three of these important events and help raise awareness and research funding for lung cancer!
