ELIZABETHTOWN — Bladen County’s first baby of 2010 was Eric Robert Hester. He was born at 3:31p.m. on January 6, 2010. He weighed in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces. and 18 inches long.

His parents are Christina and Eric Hester, Bladenboro.

Baby Eric goes home to be greeted by five brothers, Nathan Hester, age 13, Wyatt Hester, age 10, Dylan Hester, age 7, Caleb Hester, age 4 and Dalton Hester, age 1.

 His maternal grandparents are Robert and Jill Butler of Bladenboro. His paternal grandparents are Harold and Annis Hester of Bladenboro

 Bladen County Hospital and the Hester Family received gifts donated to the 2010 BCH New Year’s Baby. The gifts were given by; Bladen County Hospital Auxiliary, Bladen County Girl Scouts, First Citizens Bank, Smellie Bloomers, Toddlers & Teens, and Walmart.
