ELIZABETHTOWN — Only a couple of days left of bidding for the seventh in a series of month-long silent auctions by the Bladen Journal.

This month’s silent auction will raise money for Bladen We Care.

Up for bid in July are the following items:

— The book “Love What You Do,” signed by the author. There is currently no bid on this item.

— A double-CD package from local musician Jimmy Gatlin — the first titled “Give Your Heart to Jesus” autographed by Gatlin, and the second a music video of his single, “The Lady With the Torch.” There is currently a $10 bid on this item.

— A 4-by-6 autographed photo of former supermodel Kathy Ireland. There is currently a $15 bid on this item.

— The book “Easy Entertaining for Beginners,” signed by the author. There is currently a bid of $20 on this item.

And, as a late entry to the list of items ...

— A package of 10 free passes to White Lake Water Park. There is currently a $50 bid on this item.

Those who would like to bid on any of the items can do so through Friday, July 30, at 4 p.m. by stopping by the Bladen Journal offices or by e-mailing a bid to editor@bladenjournal.com. All bids, whether in person or by e-mail, must include the bidder’s name, daytime telephone number and their bid. All e-mail bids will be verified by telephone. No bids will be accepted by telephone.

Bidding totals will be updated throughout the month in the Bladen Journal and on the Web at www.bladenjournal.com.

When bidding closes at the end of the month, the winning bidders will be given 10 days to pay for and pick up their item(s).
