BLADENBORO — The Southeastern Cruisers Car Club of Bladenboro has released a list of winners from the recent Bladenboro Beast Festival.
Club Secretary Betsy Helms said, “All the money we raised is used for the Christmas for Kids program we do with the Bladenboro Police Department.”
The following awards were handed out at the festival car show:
• Most Unique was won by Jimmy Brice.
• Best New Mustang was won by J. B. Buell.
• Best Old Mustang was won by Gilbert Cain.
• Best Ford was won by Susan Edwards.
• Best Old Street Rod was won by Junior Riley.
• Best Chevy was won by Greg Turner.
• Best New Corvette was won by Larry Hester.
• Best GM was won by Terry Libby.
• Best Old Truck was won by Ken Taylor.
• Best Import was won by Mark King.
• Best Old Camaro was won by Johnny Dyson.
• Best New Truck was won by Ronald King.
• Best New Mopar (1973 to present) was won by Linda DiBella.
• Best Under Construction was won by David Price.
• Best of Show was won by Phil Brinsfield.
• Best Old Mopar was won by Larry Smith.
The Best of Show winner received a $250 cash award, said Helms.
Also, the oldest and youngest drivers were recognized, Helms added.
• The oldest driver was Bishop Thompson, 69, who received $25; and the youngest driver was Butch Burton, who is in his 20s, also received $25.
“We want to thank the Beast Fest for committee for allowign to have our car show there,” added Helms.
