ELIZABETHTOWN — A 10-run inning spelled doom for the Lady Eagles in their Four County Conference opener against visiting Midway on Friday, as the lady Raiders took a 15-0 mercy-rule win.

Midway plated a trio of runs in the first inning and then added a run in both the second and third inning to build a 5-0 advantage.

But in the fourth frame, the Lady Raiders nearly batted around twice and scored 10 runs to balloon the lead to 15-0.

East Bladen was held to just three hits in the game — singles by Johanna Parker, Faith Johnson and Majesti Corbett.
