CERRO GORDO – The Lady Eagles took two of three singles matches Tiesday against West Columbus, but lost four of the six singles matches to fall 5-4 in the Three Rivers Conference match.

In singles, Jayme LeeAnn Frady earned a 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 (tie-breaker) win at No. 1 for East Bladen; and Ting Lin took a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2.

In doubles, the duo of Frady and Ting Lin got an 8-3 win at No. 1; and the tandem of Anna Kate White and Lily Lin got an 8-5 win at No. 2.

— The Lady Knights earned a 9-0 whitewash win over visiting South Robeson on Tuesday in their Three Rivers Conference match, giving up just two games along the way.

In singles, Conner Brisson got an 8-1 win at No. 1; Savannah Lee took an 8-0 shutout win at No. 2; Helen Lopez earned an 8-0 shutout win at No. 3; Autumn Brisson got an 8-0 shutout win at No. 4; Mireya Sandoval earned an 8-0 shutout win at No. 5; and West Bladen took a forfeit win at No. 6.

In doubles, the No. 1 tandem of Conner Brisson and Lee won 8-1; the No. 2 duo of Lopez and Autumn Brisson won 8-0; and the Lady Knights took a forfeit win at No. 3.

— In Dublin on Tuesday, visiting South Robeson rebounded from a second-game stumble to knock off West Bladen by the scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-15 and 25-23.

Patience Parker led the Lady Knights with seven kills, four digs and an ace. Right behind was Elizabeth Allbright with seven service points, three aces, two kills, four digs and a solo block; Mikayla Winebarger had six kills, seven digs, a solo block and an ace; Raegan Davis had seven service winners, three kills, two solo blocks and two aces; Brinkley Collier contributed seven service points, an ace and a kill; Caroline Davis led West Bladen with 12 digs; and Alise Pait had four kills.
