DUBLIN — The Knights rallied from a late 1-0 deficit on Friday with two runs to earn a 2-1 Dixie Pre-Majors win over Whiteville.
The win improved West Bladen to 6-4.
The two teams went through four scoreless innings before the Wolfpack broke through with a run in the top of the fifth.
But the Knights knotted the score in the home half of the inning when Chandler Lennon belted his second triple in three games and scored on a grounder by Seth Britt.
In the sixth inning, West Bladen took the lead with a run behind a single by Weston Pidgeon, sacrifice bunt by Brandon Carson and, after a hit batter and fly ball helped move Pidgeon to third, Caleb Sholar dribbled an infield single that brought Pidgeon home for the winning run.
Jarrett Williams got the start for the Knights on the hill and hurled four innings. He was relieved by Scott Bowen, who went the final three frames to get the win.
At the plate, Bowen was 2-for-2, while Lennon had the triple and both Britt and Sholar had RBIs.
