ROSE HILL — West Bladen played perhaps its best and toughest game of the season Wednesday, knocking off regular-season champion Heidi Trask, 73-68, in the semifinals of the Four County Conference Tournament.

The Knights improved to 20-6 and will play Clinton or Wallace-Rose Hill on Friday in the title game, while the Titans fell to 22-4.

West Bladen jumped to a 6-0 lead to start the game, but Trask finished the first quarter with a 6-0 run that gave the Titans an 18-16 edge.

Things continued to go south for the Knights in the second stanza, as Heidi Trask outscored West Bladen by a 16-9 margin and took a 34-25 lead into halftime.
