Law enforcement golf tourney is June 4

WHITE LAKE — The Bladen County Law Enforcement Officers Association will hold its second annual Captain’s Choice Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 4, at Vineyard Golf at White Lake.

The event will benefit Operation Christmas.

The cost is $50 per person or $200 per team to play and $100 to sponsor a hole — any business sponsoring a hole will receive recognition with a sign near the hole they sponsor.

There will be a raffle for AR-15 Delton Rifle. Cost for raffle tickets is $5 each and can be obtained from any member of the Law Enforcement Association.

Application for the tournament can be obtained from any Bladen County law enforcement officer or at Vineyard Golf.

Lady Knights to host volleyball camp

DUBLIN — The Lady Knights of West Bladen will hold their third annual mini-volleyball camp for girls ages 9 to 13 years old on June 15-16 from 9 a.m. until noon each day in the West Bladen High School gym.

Cost for the camp is $40 per student and will include a T-shirt. Registration will be held Tuesday, June 15, at 8:30 a.m.

Registration forms may be obtained from your child’s school or from West Bladen High School. Completed forms and fees must be returned to West Bladen High School by May 31.
