DONALD LEE PARKER
KELLY - Donald Lee Parker died Wednesday, August 7. He was 63.
He was born November 13, 1938 in Columbus County, and was the son of Pearl Parker Bullock of Delco and the late Wilton Robert Parker. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn Moore Parker.
Mrs. Parker was a Bladen County farmer for over 40 years and was owner of Parker Farm Supply for 32 years. He was an active member of Haw Bluff Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a. m. Saturday at Haw Bluff Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Wade and Melvin Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Livingston Baptist Church Cemetery, Delco.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Clara Willetts Parker; his children, Lisa R. Grant, James A. Robbins, Cheryl A. Hendrix, Teresa D. Spivey, Donald E. Parker and Daniel L. Parker; his sisters, Doris Brown and Elizabeth Baker; and his grandchildren, Austin Robbins, Nadia Robbins, Eric Parker, Kara Parker, Kathryn Spivey, Anna Hendrix, and Daniel Parker.
The family will receive friends at the Parker residence in Kelly and also at Livingston Baptist Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the committal service on Saturday.
The family suggests that memorial gifts be given to Kelly Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 5, Kelly, N. C. 28448, or to Kelly Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 39, Kelly, N. C. 28448.
