The win upped the lady Knights record to 9-9 overall and 5-4 in conference play. Fairmont is also 5-4 in league play.
West Bladen won the first game 15-13 and went ahead 2-0 after taking the second game by a score of 16-14.
Fairmont bounced back to win the next two games by scores of 15-10 and 16-14 before the Lady Knights took the match with a 15-10 win in the fifth and deciding game.
Pricilla Council had 15 service points, two blocks and seven kills and Emily Peterson seven kills.
Elkin Nance had five kills, Jessica Atkinson had 10 service points, including three aces, and Jessica Ard had 13 service points.
Mandy Russ had five service points and three kills, Megan Evers had nine service points and five kills, and Amber Dawe had 14 service points.
