To the Editor:
Do you really know what you're teaching your children when you begin to coax them into Halloween celebration at such a young age? I've heard many small children crying in the stores when parents were trying to buy their Halloween outfits. They were simply afraid, and they have a right to be.
Halloween is a major satanic ritual day. There are still to this day sacrifices to Satan being performed. At this time, there are also real witches celebrating this underworld religious holiday.
The grimacing pumpkins compare to the skulls of humans killed for sacrifices. The witches' outfits worn and put out and about compare to real witches submitting to Satan. The ghosts compare to spirits of the dead believed to be released to mingle with the living during this pagan holiday.
Halloween carries horrible roots. Many parents have been made aware of this, but for some reason think they have to carry out the tradition. If not, they seem to think they are depriving their children of some kind of fun.
Parents, do you want your children imitating these sinister rituals? I especially ask Christian parents to understand that the children learn what you tell them at this early age.
Do you wish to honor our Father in heaven by teaching truth, or do you wish to honor Satan by teaching them evil? Please think it through before you decorate or celebrate such an evil pagan custom.
