ELIZABETHTOWN - Mary Newkirk-Lesane, 92, of 717 Newkirk Street, died Thursday, February 6, at Bladen County Hospital.
The funeral was conducted at 1 p. m. Monday at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Harry McGill. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sisters, Thalia Hammonds and Lennie Lewis, both of Elizabethtown; and two brothers, George Newkirk and Thomas Newkirk, both of Elizabethtown.
F. W. Newton and Sons Mortuary of Elizabethtown handled the arrangements.
