ELIZABETHTOWN - Lillie Beard Clark, 83, died Monday, March 3, at Bladen County Hospital.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at Kinlaw Funeral Home with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial will follow in White's Creek cemetery.

Mrs. Clark is survived by a daughter, Virginia C. Smith of Elizabethtown; a son, Robert Paul Clark and his wife, Diana, of Wilmington; her sisters, Alma Britt, Mary Wilkins and Emma Lee Brisson, all of Dublin; Pauline Slaughter of Perry, Fla., and Ruby Davis of Whiteville; a brother, Walter Beard of Clarkton; six grandchildren, Phyllis Gilmore and husband, Harvey, of Bladenboro; Jane Hall and husband, Woody, of Roseboro; Teresa Smith of Roseboro; Deanna Lane and husband, James, of Wilmington; Farril Smith and wife, Ann, of Garland; and five great-grandchildren, Jackie and Ginny Smith of Garland, Eddie Gilmore of Bladenboro, Garrett Hall of Roseboro, and Robert Lane of Wilmington.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 till 8 p. m. at Kinlaw Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Jane Hall, 210 Microwave Tower Road, Roseboro.
