Two Bladenboro teenagers have been arrested for pushing a tractor into a canal Wednesday night.

Bladenboro Police Chief Danny Russ said Thomas Douglas Freauf, 19, of 105 Cherry St., and James Brandon Batton, 16, of Pate's Apartments, were arrested Friday on charges of damage to personal property. They were jailed under $500 each.

Freauf was taken into custody by Sgt. Randy Sykes. Patrolman Tom Arnold arrested Batton.

The two youths allegedly pushed a Ford tractor into a ditch behind a car lot and garage, causing $2,000 damage to the machine.

In an unrelated case, Russ said two more arrests have been made as a result of an undercover operation in Bladenboro last month.

Arnold arrested Kenneth Wayne Wright of the Whalen Mobile Home Park, Bladenboro, Friday on charges of maintaining a dwelling for drug-related purposes, manufacturing cocaine by repackaging, and possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine.

He was jailed under a $5,000 bond.

Russ and Lt. Matt Hester arrested Shalinda Clarissa Baldwin, 21, Monday for maintaining a dwelling for drug-related purposes, manufacturing by repackaging, and possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.

Baldwin was still being processed at press time Monday, and bail information was not immediately available.

Baldwin lives at 106 Lennon Dr., Bladenboro.
