Bladenboro woman dies in Friday crash

A Bladenboro resident died Friday in a collision in Robeson County.

According to the N.C. Highway Patrol, Angela Storms Kelly, 41, died when her car was struck by a pickup driven by Herbert Mitchell Willoughby of Lumberton.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. approximately a mile east of Lumberton on N.C. 211.

Willoughby was traveling east when he reportedly lost control of his truck and collided with Kelly. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Kelly's car was treated and released at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Willoughy was charged with felony death by vehicle.

Kelly, 41, was a mother of three and had two grandchildren.
