COUNCIL - Jerome Armstrong Brown Jr., of 11937 NC Highway 87, died Thursday, July 8, at Bladen County Hospital. He was 63.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a. m. today (Tuesday) at Sandy Plain Missionary Baptist Church in Clarkton by the Rev. Annette McKoy. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Field Cemetery, Clarkton.
He is survived by his wife, Martha B. Brown; three daughters, Sarah Leigh Brown of Philadelphia, Pa., Lora Scotland Shavers of Greensboro, and Kimberly Brown of Dallas, Texas; a son, Troy Armstrong Brown of Dallas, Texas; his stepfather, Joseph E. Johnson of Philadelphia; and two sisters, Pamela J. Watson of Philadelphia and Cheryl Clary of Wildwood, N. J.
A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service today.
Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville is handling the arrangements.
